Questions
Questions people ask first
Do you take my insurance?
Rill is out of network with every plan and does not bill Medicare or Medicaid, so you pay for sessions yourself. On the fees page we explain the receipt you can send to a plan that may reimburse out-of-network care.
What is a superbill, and how can I use it?
A superbill is a monthly receipt that can go to your plan, which may reimburse part of the cost. It lists the dates and the kind of session and carries a diagnosis code your insurer can see. Your plan decides whether it pays anything.
What is a Good Faith Estimate?
If you pay without insurance, you have the right to a written estimate of the cost before care begins. If your final bill is $400 or more above the estimate, you can dispute it. We give you the estimate before your first session.
How much does a session cost, and how do fees work?
Your fee is given to you in writing before you start, and you pay by card at the end of each session. The fees page walks through insurance, receipts, estimates and reduced-fee spots.
Can I use an HSA or FSA card?
Yes. HSA and FSA cards work like any other card at checkout. Ask your plan administrator what it accepts as an eligible expense.
What happens in the first session?
Fifty minutes, in person or by video. Keila explains privacy and fees, asks about what you want from therapy, and answers your questions. You decide whether to continue.
How often do we meet, and for how long?
Keila sets the pace with you, and you can change it. Many people start weekly or every other week. No set number of sessions is promised.
Are you licensed where I live?
Keila is licensed in Florida as a mental health counselor. Video sessions are for people who are in Florida at the time of the session. The footer shows the license line.
What do I do in a crisis?
Call or text 988 any time, and call 911 in an emergency. Rill is not an emergency service, and a message through this site is not read right away.
What is confidential, and what are the limits?
What you say in sessions is kept private. The law sets a few limits, such as a serious risk to your safety or someone else's, and the reporting of abuse. Keila explains them in writing before you start.
Can my parents find out I am in therapy?
Not from us unless you tell us they can. If you are on a parent's insurance plan and ask a plan to reimburse you, the plan's statements may go to the person who holds the policy. Our page, Your family, your rules, goes through it.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask for 24 hours' notice to change or cancel an appointment, so the time can go to someone else. If something comes up, tell us and we will work it out.
